Recently, Posco Chemical said that the company and General Motors signed a cathode material supply agreement worth about 18 trillion wo.

The agreement stipulates that from 2023 to 2025, high-nickel cathode materials produced at Posco Chemical's Gwangyang plant will be supplied to Ultium Cells, a battery joint venture between GM and LG Energy Solution.

Posco also signed a supply contract with General Motors in May this year to supply 30,000 tons of cathode materials annually to Ultium Cells through a joint venture in Quebec, Canada, starting in 2025, with a contract period of eight year.
