Israel-based UBQ Materials has entered into a new partnership with Polyram Group, a leading international supplier of high-performance thermoplastic compounds, with the aim of bringing new sustainable solutions to the market

Polygram will incorporate UBQ's proprietary, thermoplastic, bio-based UBQ material into formulations it develops for the automotive industry and other industries
.
UBQ is a sustainable, cost-effective alternative to functional resins derived from unsorted household waste, including all organic matter
.
The company said that UBQ is fully recyclable and has been used in various fields
.
Its use helps to create durable products with a reduced or even negative environmental footprint
.

UBQ is currently building its first industrial-scale plant with an annual capacity of 73,000 tons
.
The plant, located in the Netherlands, is scheduled to be operational in the fourth quarter of 2022

The new compounds created with Polygram will contain up to 40% UBQ loading and are available for customers looking to incorporate circular solutions and carbon-reducing materials into their product lines
