The third quarterly report shows that the company invested 73 million yuan in research and development in the first three quarters of this year, a substantial increase of 81.

The company also pointed out that since the beginning of this year, the suspension of production in the upstream basic chemical industry has led to a shortage of raw materials and a sharp rise in prices, while the price transmission of long-term orders and export orders has lagged, resulting in certain fluctuations in the company's profit level

Just a day before the release of the third quarterly report, Polypec disclosed another investment announcement.

The announcement pointed out that the raw materials for optical sheets, one of the main businesses of polypetrochemical, are general-purpose polystyrene (GPPS) and styrene-methyl methacrylate copolymer (MS).

In terms of product layout, Polypec will launch research and development projects such as graphene and beauty oils in Chizhou that have completed pilot experiments.

At the same time, in the context of the gradual deepening of the "dual carbon" strategy, Polypec is actively deploying environmental protection industries such as plastic recycling, plastic recycling, and plastic degradation, and has launched rental and sales, multiple use instead of one-time use.

According to the introduction of Polypetrochemical, the above single box can be recycled about 200 times.
