PolyOne expects to complete the acquisition of Clariant Masterbatches later this year and has announced several changes to its leadership team

Given the size and scope of the pending acquisition of Clariant's Color Masterbatches business, the company will create two leadership positions with designated regional responsibilities for PolyOne's Pigments, Additives and Inks business areas

Woon Keat Moh will serve as President, Pigments, Additives and Inks for the Americas and Asia

In the new appointment, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Michael A.
Garratt will serve as President of Pigments, Additives and Inks for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region

Mr.
Garratt, who has 30 years of experience in specialty polymers, joined PolyOne in 2013 as President of Performance Products & Solutions (PP&S), a position he held until his appointment as Chief Commercial Officer in 2016

Mr.
Garratt started his career in specialty materials with The Dow Chemical Company and later with the global joint venture DuPont Dow Elastomers, where he lived for four years in Switzerland and was responsible for the EMEA region

John Midea, senior vice president of global operations and process improvement, will serve as integration lead for the acquisition

Mr.
Midea has been with PolyOne since 2015 and has successfully led the company's environmental, operations, procurement, logistics and Lean Six Sigma efforts

Midea, Garratt and Mr.
Moh will work together to ensure the integration of the global pigments, additives and inks divisions and the success of the organic business
.

Cathy K.
Dodd, Vice President of Marketing, will succeed Mr.
Garratt as Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer

Ms.
Dodd joined PolyOne in 2014 and has since led the company's marketing efforts to capture and communicate the tremendous value PolyOne brings to customers and a full suite of innovative materials and services that achieve its sustainability goals

She led strategic insights and market research, reactivated the company's inside sales function, and focused on customer experience, a role that will continue to make PolyOne outstanding during her tenure

Dodd held various positions at Eastman Chemical Company, Honeywell and Ashland Petroleum Corporation

Dodd received her BA in Marketing and Management from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY
