Polymaker has announced two new 3D printing materials, carbon fiber reinforced PA6 and glass fiber filled PA
Both materials were developed using the company's fiber-bonding technology, which enhances the interlayer adhesion of printed parts in the X, Y and Z ax.
PolyMide PA6-CF is a carbon fiber reinforced grade with the highest strength, impact resistance and thermal deformation (215°C) of all Polymaker's material combinatio.
Meanwhile, PolyMide PA6-GF is a glass fiber filled material with good strength and stiffne.
They also have improved interlayer adhesion through Polymaker's fiber bonding technolo.
Polymaker's latest product has been used in a research laboratory in Shangh.
In HP Star's lab, PolyMide PA6-CF was selected for its performance at high temperatures, and its rigidity and strength resulted in a "truly strong battery holder", said HP Star's .
He added: “Previously for custom lab equipment, we expected a two to three week lead time from our in-house machine shop, and we often needed to modify the equipment furth.
