On July 22, state-owned coal exporter Weglokoks said Poland's seaborne thermal coal exports in the second quarter of 2015 fell 13% year-on-year to 697,700 tons, but more than doubled from 327,200 tons in the first quarter, breaking the trend
of seven consecutive quarters of decline in thermal coal exports since the third quarter of 2013.

During the same period, Poland's domestic thermal coal sales were 408,100 tons, down 25% year-on-year and 7%
month-on-month.
In the second quarter, Poland exported 230,500 tons of hard coking coal, down 94% year-on-year and 19%
month-on-month.
