It is reported that the detailed work is divided into key industries such as the catering industry, wholesale and retail industry, convention and exhibition industry, and regulates the prohibition or restriction of the use of plastic products.
In the catering industry, except for the use of plastic bags for selling and dine-in, the detailed work also requires the catering industry in the city to prohibit the use of non-degradable disposable plastic coffee stirring rods, which will be implemented on July 1, 2021.
It is reported that according to the development of Beijing’s urban construction and the needs of plastic pollution control, Beijing’s built-up areas include areas within the Fifth Ring Road, suburban new towns designated as street management areas, Capital International Airport, Daxing International Airport areas, and various districts according to plastic pollution control work The actual area needs to be delimited, and the built-up area will be adjusted in due course according to the situation.
