Dongming Petrochemical has a polypropylene production capacity of 200,000 tons/year, and its polypropylene products have been successfully exported to the sea by using Spheripol.

On April 18, 2021, Tianjin Petrochemical's product structure adjustment and oil quality upgrading and transformation supporting project-a 200,000 tons/year polypropylene plant successfully started up and produced qualified products.

On March 26, 2021, the 300,000 tons/year polypropylene plant of Sino-Korea Petrochemical Polyolefins Division II was put into use.

On March 21, 2021, the Gulei refining and chemical integration project undertaken by the Fifth Construction Company of Sinopec Refining and Chemical Engineering Group Co.

Lyondell Basel technology is selected, including a set of 400,000 tons/year polypropylene plant using Spheripol technology, and a set of 200,000 tons/year polypropylene plant using Spherizone technology.

The project plans to produce high-end polypropylene products with high impact resistance, high transparency and high melt strength, which can replace PS, PET and other plastics in multiple application fields.
