Vietnam built the largest PBAT plant in Southeast Asia
Recently, Vietnam biodegradable nylon bag manufacturer Anfa Holdings (APH) held a groundbreaking ceremony
for the biodegradable plastic polybutylene terephthalate-butylene adipate (PBAT) plant in Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park, Hai Phong.
It is reported that the PBAT plant is designed to have an annual capacity of 30,000 tons, which is currently the largest green plastic factory
in Southeast Asia.
The total investment of the project is 120 million US dollars, and the construction period is 24 months
.
After being put into production, it will meet 100% of APH's raw material needs and reduce the cost
of biodegradable plastic products by 20%~30%.
