2 million tons/year aviation coal hydrogenation unit is the main production unit of Guangdong Petrochemical, and the design and processing raw materials have the characteristics of low smoke point and high sulfur content, and have strict
requirements for catalyst to improve smoke point performance.
In 2014, the project team of the Daqing Research Center of the Petrochemical Institute began to study the hydrogenation mechanism of inferior kerosene and the development of
PHK-102 catalyst according to actual needs.
After 8 years of efforts, the project team successfully developed PHK-102 catalyst with strong aromatic saturation capacity, large smoke point increase and high deep desulfurization activity, and successively completed small-scale-up, pilot and industrial scale-up tests
