PepsiCo's Naked Juice all-natural blended juice brand has replaced its juice range in the UK with new 100% recycled plastic bottles
.
With this packaging change, Naked Juice claims to be the only juice brand in the retail beverage space to use 100% recycled plastic bottles
.
The new drink bottles also feature a new, stylish label with a Naked 100% recyclable plastic message, and the brand is calling on consumers to help reduce plastic waste and ensure bottles are placed in the recycling bin after drinking
.
The launch of the new plastic bottle echoes PepsiCo's sustainability strategy, which aims to reduce the virgin plastic content of its beverage portfolio by 35 percent by 2025
.
Charlotte Ashburner, senior marketing manager at PepsiCo, said: “We know that consumers are working hard to do their bit by supporting brands that address the environmental concerns they care about
.
The new 100% recycled bottle juice is now available in all Naked juice retail supermarkets in the UK, including Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, Morrison and Ocado
