In February, PepsiCo launched a pilot project in which the food and beverage giant plans to manufacture 830 eco-trays for use at the company's two logistics centers, which has now been complet.
In addition to pallets, the company has also announced that UBQ's material will be used in other applicatio.
The first of these applications is the Lay's Chips display used in Euro.
UBQ is a bio-based thermoplastic made from 100% unsorted household waste, including all organic was.
