In February, PepsiCo launched a pilot project in which the food and beverage giant plans to manufacture 830 eco-trays for use at the company's two logistics centers, which has now been complet.
In addition to pallets, the company has also announced that UBQ's material will be used in other applicatio.
The first of these applications is the Lay's Chips display used in Euro.
UBQ is a bio-based thermoplastic made from 100% unsorted household waste, including all organic was.

PepsiCo has established a sustainable transformation agenda called Pepsi Positive (pep+), which has set various environmental goals, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 40% over 10 years and achieving net-zero emissions by 204 Pepsi Labs has identified UBQ Materials as the primary solution to support these goa.
