Recently, PV tracking company Mecasolar has signed an agreement with Panasonic group company Anchor Electricals to produce and distribute its PV products in India and supply them to Southeast Asia and Africa

Anchor, which has established itself in India's renewable energy sector, will offer Mecasolar's single-row horizontal tracker HYPERION-SR and multi-row HYPERION-MR products

"India is on an ambitious path to increase renewable energy, especially solar, with 2.
63GW of installed capacity in 2014 now increasing to 22GW, an eight-fold
increase," said the project leader of Panasonic India.
