Panasonic Electric Co.
, Ltd.
(Osaka, Japan) has announced the launch of its new "HITN295" solar photovoltaic module
in the European market.
The N295 solar PV module is designed with compact dimensions and frame thickness, combined with Panasonic's renowned high-performance technology with an efficiency of 19.
1%.
Measuring up to 150 cm in length, the N295's compact design enables European residential solar installers to maximise the utilisation of existing roof space and install add-on columns, especially for customers
with less roof space.
Improved solar solutions for European installers
Daniel Rocca, Senior Business Developer at Panasonic, commented: "The N295 represents an important milestone in our ongoing quest to provide better technology and solar solutions to European installers
.
We listened to our customers' needs and recognized that there were dramatic changes in the size and characteristics of roofs in Europe, and designed this unique compact and powerful component to provide installers with maximum flexibility
when designing solar systems for their customers.
"
Panasonic previously released the HIT N325/330 in the European market in March 2016, and the new HIT series products perfectly combine the excellent performance
of the N325/330 product version.
When two products are similar in width, you can choose to install the N295 when you cannot install an additional row or column of N325/330 components in a limited space because the N295 is shorter and helps improve system output
.
The company says the Italian market is ideally suited for installing N295 compact size components
.
Daniel Rocca added, "Over the past year, we have seen a changing landscape
for PV installers across Europe.
While many manufacturers have chosen to scale back their European operations, we remain steadfast in our commitment to providing reliable, high-quality solar solutions to help installers and consumers develop the potential
of their residential rooftop solar.
”
The Panasonic N295 will be released
in mid-October 2016.
