    Recently, Pacifico Energy announced that it has begun construction of a 55 MW solar project
    in the Japanese city of Gifu.

     

    It is understood that the solar power plant will officially start operation
    in July 2018.

    Once completed, the project will produce 55 million kilowatt-hours of electricity
    per year.

    Japan's Chubu Electric Power Company will purchase all the electricity produced at the plant, and Toyo Engineering Corporation will provide the full contract service
