Qatar Petroleum CEO Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi recently revealed that Qatar Petroleum, the global leader in liquefied natural gas (LNG), plans to invest $20 billion
in U.

oil and gas fields.
According to the Gulf Times, the investment will be completed within five years, noting that relevant transaction information will be announced
before the end of the year.
Al-Kaabi said some of that may be used to export LNG for Texas' Golden Pass, which is being developed
jointly with ExxonMobil.
In addition, Qatar wants to invest an additional $5 billion in downstream assets, such as petrochemical projects
