Recently, OFS, a leading manufacturer in the field of optical fiber and cable, announced that it will use the FTTH Connect conference held in Nashville, Tennessee, USA from June 13 to 15 to release three new FTTH indoor wiring products: hidden end-of-line solutions, Slimbox wall panels and 80 x 80 modules
.
These products belong to OFS's Hidden Indoor Living Unit ILU Solutions Division, which is mainly used for the connection of indoor ONTs to support the development
of FTTH services.
OFS pointed out that in parallel with the market demand for FTTx cabling products in apartment environments, the demand for ONT connections for individual homes is also emerging
.
These demands will require construction personnel to quickly route
without affecting residents and home renovation.
The new product launched by OFS this time is in response to such demand
.
OFS's hidden end-of-line solution provides a fast and virtually invisible way to connect OFS's EZ-bend cables indoors, without the need for demarcation points
.
The builder only needs to peel off a section of the cable jacket to expose the optical fiber, and then use the hidden construction process to connect to the wall socket or ONT
.
The SlimBox wall panel acts as an indoor wall fiber termination, enabling up to 2 factory-prefabricated or field-connected connectors or fusion point installations
.
The product is compatible with common wall electrical outlets and provides access ports
on the top, bottom and back.
The 80 x 80 module of OFS was previously a miniaturized version of the hidden adaptation module, which was reduced in size by more than
70%.
It can support a fiber reel up to 40 meters long and supports different reel options
.
