On October 15, the off-grid vertical axis intelligent wind power generation device passed the expert appraisal
in Baotou City.
It is reported that the device is developed to solve the problem of electricity shortage in the vast grassland of Inner Mongolia, and the expert group believes that this technology is a major innovation
in this field internationally.
The off-grid vertical axis intelligent wind power generation device was planned by the Yellow River Cultural and Economic Development Research Association of Baotou City, and the project team led by Professor Zhang Xiaoqian, a postdoctoral supervisor of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was debugged at the red mud well test site in Guyang County from July to September this year after more than 10 years of intensive research, and was successfully
developed.
The R&D personnel of the project team have solved a series of key technical problems, and the developed fan can provide more than 1600 kWh of electricity every year, which meets the basic production electricity
of herders.
