Actor has completed the commissioning
of a high voltage cable system for Walney Extension, a 659 MW offshore wind farm in the Irish Sea.

The NKT delivery includes more than 139 km of submarine cables

Nkt designed, manufactured and commissioned two 220 kV extruded outlet cable systems as well as an underground cable system
connecting the wind farm to the onshore grid.
Nactet noted that all 220 kV connectors and terminal components
will also be supplied and installed.
