The power station will be built on
an area of about 165,000 m2 in Shiga Kirigho, Suwa City.
Construction is scheduled to start in June 2016 and electricity sales are scheduled to begin in August 2018
.
The business site is mountain forest, and a forest land development license
has been obtained from Nagano Prefecture.
The annual power generation capacity after commissioning is expected to be about 12,000 MWh, which is equivalent to the electricity
consumption of about 3,000 ordinary households.
The electricity price is 36 yen/kWh (excluding tax), and it is sold to Chubu Electric Power
.
