French cable company Nexans will supply output cables for Scotland's 860 MW Moray West offshore wind farm, subject to the project receiving a contract for difference (CfD) in 2022 and reaching a financial settlement

The wind farm's developer said Thursday that it had selected Nexans as the offshore wind farm output cable supplier
after an extensive procurement process.
The Moray West project is owned by Ocean Winds, a 50/50 joint venture
between EDP Renovaveis SA and Engie SA.
The cables supplied by Nexans will connect the wind farm's two offshore substation platforms to the onshore substation
.
The cable manufacturer will also supply cables
for underground connections from the project substation to the Blackhillock grid.
Nexans' office in Edinburgh will support the mission

It is reported that this is the first offshore wind farm project
that Nexans has cooperated with Ocean Winds.
