Nexans launches a new version of the cable sizing tool in New Zealand

With the successful launch of the cable sizing tool in France and Belgium, Nexans is launching a new version of the EASYCALC™ cable sizing tool
in New Zealand.
This free APP, which can be accessed via a web browser, tablet or smartphone, makes it easy for electricians and installers to determine the appropriate cable cross-section for electrical
installations.

The newly released version was developed specifically for the cable industry in New Zealand to promote the use of
cables that comply with local standards.
EASYCALC™ also takes into account special dimensional calculation challenges
related to voltage drop, soil resistivity conditions and installation.

EASYCALC™ takes into account the choice of parallel or multiple loops and can be used for current and motor calculations

Users can print out the search results directly or send them to an email address
.
Product data lists and codes can also be emailed directly via the app
.

Nexans
' customers have seen a preview of the EASYCALC™ New Zealand version in a series of roadshows in May.
The feedback has been quite positive and proves the effectiveness
of this tool.

EASYCALC™ is now available for download in the App Store and Google Play, and all versions are free
