    The research team of Yunnan Agricultural University recently discovered two new targets of caffeine's health function, revealing the molecular mechanism of coffee's anti-oxidation, and providing a scientific basis for the wide application of caffeine


    For a long time, people's research on the health function of caffeine has not been able to clarify the target of its efficacy, so that the molecular mechanism of coffee's health effect research progress is slow


    The above research team found through molecular interaction technology that caffeine can directly bind to an important deacetylation modification enzyme in the mitochondria of cells.


    The study also found that caffeine can bind to enzymes related to intracellular glucose metabolism (glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase), inhibit its biological enzyme activity, and regulate redox homeostasis
