Previously, the Civil Aviation Administration, the Development and Reform Commission of Guangdong Province and the Department of Ecology and Environment released the "Plastic Pollution Control Work Plan for the Civil Aviation Industry (2021-2025)" and "Implementation Opinions on Further Strengthening the Control of Plastic Pollution", and Baiyun Airport immediately started degradable plastics For the promotion work, convene competent departments such as terminals, public areas, logistics, commerce, hotels, etc.

At present, Baiyun Airport has discontinued a series of non-degradable products, including lunch boxes, garbage bags, paper cups and small bottled toiletries, in VIP lounges, two-class lounges, staff restaurants, guesthouses, hotels and other places in the terminal building.

Build a checklist, go all the way 

Baiyun Airport has compiled and established a negative list for procurement, and it is clear that from January 2022, disposable non-degradable plastic bags, straws, stirring sticks, meal/cup utensils, and packaging bags will be included in the list to ensure that disposable non-degradable plastics will no longer enter the airport
