    Carbon launches new RPU 130 resin

    Carbon has announced that it will launch RPU 130, a new resin material suitable for the automotive indust.


    RPU 130 is the latest addition to Carbon's family of rigid polyurethane materials, combining the excellent properties of Carbon's many existing resins, including RPU 70, FPU 50 and EPX8 The new material is a tough, heat- and impact-resistant resin with properties similar to ABS, unfilled nylon or polypropyle.


    “Our materials team at Carbon is second to none, and the RPU 130 represents a real breakthrough in a new type of additive,” commented .


    In addition to automotive use, RPU 130 is ideal for use in industrial and consumer products, including sunglasses, tool casings and equipment casin.
