New 3D printing materials from Huntsman and Cubicure

Huntsman Introduces New TPU-Based Filaments and Resins

Chemical company Huntsman is launching two new polyurethane-based 3D printing materials at Formnext this month: IROPRINT F 80112 filament and IROPRINT R 1801 res.

Huntsman's new filament IROPRINT F 80112 is a Shore A78 thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) material that is soft and tou.

In the case of IROPRINT R 1801, it is a radiation-cured one-component polyurethane-based resin that is best suited for stereolithography, digital light processing and other radiation-cured printing process.

Cubicure Releases New Flame Retardant Photopolymer for SLA

Austrian additive manufacturing industrial polymer supplier Cubicure has announced a new SLA 3D printing material: Evolution .

Evolution FR is a flame retardant, halogen-free resin optimized for Cubicure's patented thermal lithography technolo.

"Polymers used in such high standard applications need to meet certain standards and classifications to ensure proper safety for the end user," Cubicure sa.
