oil equivalent.
Calypso is Neptune Energy's third discovery
on the Norwegian continental shelf in six months.
Odin Estensen, managing director of Neptune Energy, said, "We are actively exploring areas
close to existing infrastructure.
These near-field discoveries contribute to low-cost and low-carbon development

A preliminary analysis of Calypso suggests commercial potential
.
Now, together with partners under the Calypso license, we will look at how to efficiently develop the discovery
using nearby infrastructure.
”
The Calypso discovery is located in one of Neptune's core regions, 14 km (9 mi) northwest of the Draugen field and 22 km (13 mi)

Well 6407/8-8S drilled to a vertical depth of 3,496 metres and encountered an estimated 8 m thick gas column and a 30 m thick oil column in the 131 m thick Garn Formation sandstone reservoir with very good
quality.
The Discovery Partners are owned by Neptune Energy (operator, 30%), OKEA ASA (30%), Pandion Energy AS (20%) and V?r Energi ASA (20%)
