Article 29 If review members or review experts violate the national science and technology award review work discipline, the science and technology administrative department of the State Council shall cancel the qualifications of their review members and review experts, and the unit to which they belong or relevant departments shall impose sanctions in accordance with the law.
Article 30: Where a winner plagiarizes or embezzles others’ discoveries, inventions, or other scientific and technological achievements, or defrauds the National Science and Technology Award by other improper means, the science and technology administrative department of the State Council shall report to the State Council for approval and revoke the award and recover the medal , Certificates and bonuses, and shall be punished by the unit or relevant departments in accordance with the law.
Article 31 Anyone who nominates experts, scholars, or organizations to provide false data or materials to assist others in obtaining the National Science and Technology Award by defrauding them shall be criticized in a circular by the Science and Technology Administration Department of the State Council; if the circumstances are serious, their nomination qualifications shall be suspended or cancelled, and the The unit or the relevant department shall impose sanctions in accordance with the law.
Article 32 Anyone who violates the provisions of Article 27 of these regulations shall be investigated and punished by relevant departments in accordance with relevant laws and administrative regulations.
Article 33: Individuals and organizations that violate these regulations and have serious untrustworthiness in scientific research integrity shall be recorded in the database of serious untrustworthiness in scientific research integrity and shared on the national credit information sharing platform, and joint punishments shall be implemented in accordance with relevant national regulations.
Article 34 Where candidates, winners, review committees, review experts, nominated experts, and scholars of the National Science and Technology Award are suspected of violating other laws and administrative regulations, the science and technology administrative department of the State Council shall notify the relevant departments to deal with them in accordance with the law.
Article 35: Those who participate in the evaluation organization of the National Science and Technology Awards who abuse their power, neglect their duties, or engage in malpractice for personal gains in the evaluation activities shall be punished in accordance with the law; if a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated in accordance with the law.
