Recently, India's independent power producer Mytrah Energy has signed a power purchase agreement with Solar Energy India to build a 300 MW wind power project
in Coimbatore.
Mytrah Energy's winning bid is part of the fourth tranche of SECI's wind-reversal auction, which involved 11 companies
.
Mytrah Energy's Vice Chairman and Managing Director said in a statement, "This victory marks another success
for Mytrah Energy in building a strong and diversified wind portfolio.
This round of auctions further strengthens the ongoing commitment to the renewable energy sector while contributing to
a greener tomorrow.

According to the SEC's auction rules, the fourth tranche of awarded projects must be commissioned within 18 months from the effective date of the PPA, not the date
of the certificate granted.
The developers welcomed this change as it became more closely tied to
the project execution plan.
Mytrah Energy (India) has more than 40 projects (operational and under development) in the wind and solar power sector in 9 states with a total capacity of 2.
