Sinopec announced on the 10th that the company's Shunbei oil and gas field has tested high-yield industrial oil and gas flows at a depth of 8,000 meters underground, with a daily oil and gas equivalent of 1,017 ton.
Ma Yongsheng, chairman of Sinopec, said that the Shunbei oil and gas field is located in the Tarim Basi.
At present, 41 oil and gas wells with a vertical depth of more than 8,000 meters have been drilled in the Shunbei oil and gas field, and 76 wells with a depth of 7,500 to 8,000 meter.
Ma Yongsheng said that in the practice of oil and gas exploration and development in China, the strata with a burial depth of more than 8,000 meters are ultra-deep layer.
Ma Yongsheng said that China's deep and ultra-deep oil and gas resources reached 61 billion tons of oil equivalent, accounting for 34% of the country's total oil and gas resource.
"Sinopec has formed a series of domestic leading deep-earth technologies, such as ultra-deep reservoir three-dimensional imaging technology and fracture-cavity fine carving technology, which is equivalent to performing CT scans in the deep part of the earth, and the fault identification accuracy has been improved from 30 meters to 15 meter.
