Momentive announced that it will invest US$13 million (approximately 11 million euros) to expand its existing plant in Termoli, Italy, to create a state-of-the-art manufacturing center for its Niax polyurethane additives
.
The plant, which currently produces high-performance additives and other silicon-based products for rigid foam applications, will undergo a comprehensive technology upgrade to expand services to the EU sheet foam industry
.
The plant, which will serve customers in Europe, Russia and Turkey, is expected to be fully operational by mid-2022
.

Momentive also recently opened a new customer service support center in Milan
.
