MOST 3 Yue 10 evening news release, Science and Technology Minister Wang Chih-kang recently chaired a peak of carbon in the carbon Ministry of Science and Technology and the first meeting of the leading group to study scientific and technological support to achieve peak carbon, carbon-neutral and objective related work .

The meeting pointed out that achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality is a complex system engineering, which must handle the relationship between development and emission reduction, overall and partial, short-term and medium-term long-term.

The meeting emphasized that accelerating carbon neutral technological innovation should be an important task of the Ministry of Science and Technology, focusing on the following three tasks: First, we must step up research and formation of the "Carbon Peak Carbon Neutral Technological Innovation Action Plan", and coordinate the promotion of technological innovation.
