Huang Libin, spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and director of the Operation Monitoring and Coordination Bureau, said on the 22nd that China's new energy automobile industry has achieved "one lead, three breakthroughs.
In September of this year, China's new energy vehicle production and sales increased sharply, with 136,000 and 138,000 vehicles respectively completed, a year-on-year increase of 48% and 67.
The total investment in China's new energy vehicle industry chain has exceeded 2 trillion yuan (RMB, the same below).
According to Huang Libin, the "three breakthroughs" and one is market breakthroughs.
The second is technological breakthroughs.
The third is product breakthroughs.
Huang Libin said that China's new energy automobile industry also has outstanding problems such as weak core technological innovation capabilities, lagging infrastructure construction, and unsound industrial ecology.
The "New Energy Automobile Industry Development Plan (2021-2035)" was reviewed and approved at the executive meeting of the State Council on October 9.
