Milliken expands German production base

Recently, Milliken announced that in order to meet the expected market demand, the company is further expanding the production base of Zebra-chem in Germany, which was acquired in March last ye.

According to reports, the expansion allows Milliken to increase the production capacity of the acquired Zebra-chem company's Bad Bentheim plant by 60% by the end of the ye.

Milliken sales manager Tugce Asici-van Houselt said the viscosity modifiers and performance modifiers produced at the plant can be used to improve the melt flow of recycled polypropylene resins with little or no effect on the resin's physical properti.

In addition, the plant produces a wide range of solid concentrates as chemical blowing agents that can be used in foamed thermoplastic production process.

Milliken & Company said that the plan to fully integrate the acquired business within this year is actively advanci.
