Recently, meeco announced that it will build and operate a 7MW ground-based open photovoltaic project
in the Solapur district of Maharashtra, India.

It is understood that the electricity generated by the power station will be sold to commercial customers
    through the signing of PPAs.

The head of Meeco India said, "Open access in the Indian state of Maharashtra ensures that energy
    is generated in different locations.
We can fully utilize the available space to install clean energy solutions
    .
To charge grid operators, the energy generated can be fed into the grid and can be consumed
in another place where the final PPA client runs.
Long-term PPAs combined with open access enable private Maharashtra businesses to benefit
from flexible, environmentally friendly and reliable and cost-effective energy supply.
We expect to enter into PPAs with industrial energy customers in the next 9-12 months to guarantee the full power output
    of the 7MWp sun2fix facility.
