McDermott International recently acquired the natural gas-to-olefins assets and intellectual property of Siluria Technologies for an undisclosed amou.

The acquisition includes a commercial demonstration unit operating at a petrochemical plant in Tex.

Last year, Siluria signed a technology license with Saudi Aramco Technologies, a subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, to combine Siluria’s natural gas-to-olefins with Saudi Aramco’s crude oil-to-chemicals (COTC) process, which is expected to be commercialized in 202
