Masdar and Hassan Allam Utilities, the top UAE-based renewable energy companies, have partnered with Egypt's state-backed renewable energy company, according to a report by Oil & Gas News on April 25.

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said the country is making efforts to encourage investment in green energy projects as Egypt has the potential to become an important and regional hub for this important sector, which is expected to grow in the coming period.
