The Legislative Council of the Macao Special Administrative Region held a plenary meeting on the 8th, and passed the "Restriction on the Provision of Plastic Bags" bill in deta.
Certain items and shopping locations that are still eligible for free plastic bags under the bill include "unpackaged food or medicine," "airport passenger boarding or disembarking areas," and some items sold at airport corridor retail locatio.
