Lubrizol has introduced a commercially available product, Aptalon 8080HS, a new high solids polyurethane dispersion

Its high solids content, along with the capabilities of Lubrizol's patented Aptalon polyamide technology, together offer paint manufacturers an exciting future of wood and metal-based paint products:

Fewer coats provide equal protection: Aptalon 8080HS has 50% solids for formulating higher solids coatings

Fast drying: Aptalon 8080HS dries more than five times faster than low solids polyurethane dispersions, allowing for faster return to service;

Lower VOC usage: Aptalon 8080HS requires less VOC to formulate, providing environmental compliance and product labeling benefits
