On July 29, The Lubrizol Corporation announced the next phase of a multi-million dollar investment in thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) capacity and capabilities to serve the rapidly growing global paint protection film (PPF) market
.
This comes on the back of more than $20 million invested over the past three years in production capacity, application and testing capabilities, and market insights
.
The new investment will further optimize the global production layout to support the expected growth and innovation of the paint protection film market, gradually increase production capacity through de-bottlenecking and investment in emerging projects, which will more than triple in the next three years
.
