    South Korea's LS Cable Group announced on Sunday that it will expand its investment in a winding wire manufacturing plant in Serbia to expand its business in
    Eastern Europe.

    LS Cable Group Chairman Koo Ja-yeol met with Maja Gojkovic, Speaker of the National Assembly of Serbia, who is visiting Seoul, to discuss ways
    to expand business cooperation and investment in Eastern European countries.

    "LS will invest in an additional copper wire plant to double its capacity and make it the largest copper wire manufacturing plant
    in Eastern Europe," Koo said.
    He added that thanks to local highly skilled talent and full support from the Serbian government, the plant's operations will soon stabilize.

    (SPSX), built a winding wire plant in Zrenjanin, Serbia, about 90 kilometers from the capital Belgrade, in November 2018, with an investment of 18.
    5 million euros.

    The plant covers an area of 12,000 square meters and can produce 12,000 tons of copper wire
    per year.
