Sinopec News Network has reported that the second phase of the Zhejiang Petrochemical Project undertaken by the Tenth Construction Company of Refining and Chemical Engineering has implemented a "low-carbon" construction strategy to help green and environmentally friendly construction sites.
In the construction of the second phase of the Zhejiang Petrochemical Project, due to the wide range of construction sites and the large amount of construction materials used, a large amount of carbon dioxide was emitted.
The engineering and technical personnel of the project department focus on the processing of construction materials, accelerate the pace of reducing carbon dioxide emissions during the construction process, and achieve the goal of low-carbon and environmentally friendly construction in various specialties.
At the same time, the project department implemented a modular construction strategy for steel structures, equipment, and pipelines, which essentially improved the use efficiency of large-scale machinery and equipment, thereby reducing exhaust emissions from lifting and transportation vehicles and achieving the goal of reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
During the construction of the slurry-bed residue hydrogenation unit, the project department carried out unified transportation and centralized hoisting of the steel structure frame.
