On July 21, Linde announced that the company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Industrial Technology Research Institute of Northeastern University.

Hu Bei, vice president of Linde Greater China and head of hydrogen energy business, said that at present, green and low-carbon development has become the top priority in the transformation and upgrading of China's steel industry

Regarding the utilization of hydrogen energy, Hu Bei said that the application of hydrogen energy in the future will increasingly become an important way to reduce carbon in the steel industry

Hu Bei said: "Linde attaches great importance to the strategic cooperation with Northeastern University, and looks forward to the cooperation between the two parties, giving full play to their respective advantages, and jointly contributing innovative achievements of sustainable development to the steel industry and related industries

Jiang Zhouhua, Dean of the Dongda Research Institute, said: "Carbon peaking and carbon neutrality have put forward higher requirements for the steel industry to promote quality improvement, emission reduction and carbon reduction
