Recently, Linde announced that its rooftop photovoltaic power generation project at the production site of Qiangsheng Gas (Nanjing) Co.

According to the introduction of Linde, at present, Linde Qiangsheng uses solar energy to generate electricity on site, which can provide 90% of the peak load of green solar power for the site, realizing the "self-production and self-use" of the power required for operation and the "green" with zero carbon footprint.

Gu Wei, vice president of Linde Greater China and head of the packaged gas business, said: "Linde has been exploring the use of clean and efficient green energy to replace the existing energy model, and seeking a sustainable development path for the company's own operations

In 2021, Linde proposed a new sustainable development goal, which is to achieve a 35% reduction in absolute greenhouse gas emissions by 2035 compared with 2021, and to achieve climate neutrality by 2050
