LANXESS has appointed Frederique van Baarle (48) as head of the Performance Materials business, effective June 1, 2020

The business unit's product portfolio consists primarily of high-performance plastics for the automotive and electronics industries

Frederique van Baarle studied International Marketing at INSEAD Business School in France and after graduating with an MBA, started his career in the chemical industry at Royal DSM in the Netherlands in 2000

Van Baarle joined LANXESS in 2011 and has held various management positions in sales and marketing in the High Performance Elastomers business unit (now ARLANXEO) and the High Performance Materials business unit
