On September 30, foreign media reported that Kuwait Oil Company decided to reduce the export
of spot diesel in the coming months.
Kuwait used to export between 40,000 and 65,000 tons
of spot diesel per month.
When production resumed Aug.
22, the refinery produced 150,000 barrels
per day.
Diesel exports will gradually increase
in the coming months.
At the same time, Kuwait will also decide whether to carry out repairs
to the equipment at the Shuaiba refinery affected by the fire.
The Shuaiba refinery, Kuwait's smallest refinery, had a fire at the 200,000 barrel-per-day heavy oil catalytic cracker in August, which had an impact
