South Korean telecommunications company KT has confirmed that it will launch 5G network commercialization services
in March next year.
Last month, during the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, KT already offered 5G trial services, including simultaneous viewing, interactive short films, 360-degree virtual reality live broadcasts and all-round viewing, sending video footage
of various qualities to viewers in real time.
In addition, the company exhibited a 5G-connected autonomous bus
in PyeongChang.
