Personal care product makers Kimberly Clark and Henkel North America have joined the US Plastics Pact

Plastics Pact is a collaborative initiative to pave the way for a circular economy for plastics in the U.
S.
by 2025
.
As part of the plan, the companies will take steps to eliminate "problematic or unnecessary" packaging by 2025
.
In addition, they will take action to efficiently recycle or compost 50% of plastic packaging and ensure that the average recycled or trusted source biobased content in plastic packaging increases to 30% by 2025
.
