According to news from the Russian Oil and Gas Network on June 11, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin has started the construction of a natural gas processing plant in the Kashgar Oilfield, which is a comprehensive natural gas preparation plant
.

The project aims to promote the development of the country's natural gas processing industry, increase Kashgar's oil production to 450,000 barrels per day, expand the country's resource base for further gasification, and improve the environmental friendliness of oil and gas products

During a work visit to the Atyrau region, Mamin inspected the implementation of major investment projects in petrochemical and oil and gas equipment manufacturing

Mamin also inspected the construction of the first comprehensive gas chemical complex with an annual output of 500,000 tons of polypropylene

The project is implemented by the Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industry Company and is scheduled to start in March 2022
