Recently, Kalpataru Power Company said it has secured orders
for electricity worth a total of Rs 901 crore.
The three orders are a construction works order for a 765 kV D/C transmission line and an INR 640 crore contract from the grid company, as well as national power
for GIS substations and transmission lines.
The third of these contracts was awarded by the Central Railway Electrification Commission for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of railway electrification, including overhead equipment and traction substation works

The Managing Director and CEO said, "We have secured orders worth Rs.
935 crore in FY2017-18, a 50 per cent increase compared to last year, and our order inflows for the year have been consistent across various sectors
including transmission and substations, pipelines and railways.
”
He further added that with the current visibility of orders, the company will continue to focus on achieving earnings growth
in fiscal 2018-19.
